Chicago’s pop-tinged Ponys recently signed with Matador for a multi-album deal. After Ian Adam’s departure from the band this past year and being replaced by former 90 Day Men guitarist Brian Case, it seems as though nothing can stop them from their evident gallop to the heights of the rockn’roll world. With a break from touring this summer and plans to record this fall for their third album, we can expect more of their instantly classic sound that melds timeless songwriting with a slithering psychedelic slant. The Ponys perform with Art Brut and Headache City at the Empty Bottle in Chicago Friday July 28 and the Fuck Yeah Fest August 20 in LA. Check out some songs HERE.

And check out this video of "We Shot the World" off their second album on In The Red.
