FULL BREACH KICKS AND THE MANIKINS INTERVIEWS!

Our buddies over at The Rock and Roll Report did a cool interview with Josh from Full Breach Kicks this week. Check it out and read why he says "if ya support the bands, labels, and mom and pop stores, then that will rock and so will you!" We always thought that would be obvious, but maybe not...

A brand new rock 'n' roll magazine out of Ohio called That's Cool, That's Trash! featured The Manikins in their first issue out now. Are The Manikins finally gonna get their Swedish asses over to this side of the Atlantic to play? Read and find out.

POISON ARROWS AND PLEXI 3 UPCOMING 7"S!

Full Breach Kicks welcomes the Poison Arrows and Plexi 3 to the label. The Poison Arrows is a brand new power pop punk band from Atlanta featuring ex-members of The Heart Attacks. The band is busy in the studio recording songs for an upcoming 7" single, and they'll be on tour soon near you.

Plexi 3 is an ultra catchy, three-piece power pop band from Milwaukee with trade-off male and female vocals. Watch for their third 7" single coming soon. Victim of Time says, "Plexi 3 always got what it takes to put together some of the catchiest songs you're ever gonna hear, and they have already carved out a perfect niche for themselves which sheds their previous band associations and pushes them right to the top of today's best rock 'n' roll songwriting."

The Joneses reunion in Long Beach, CA, 2007

The cool rock 'n' roll Canadian website Sugarbuzz has done a great feature on The Joneses. See why they "will never go out of style, cos they were never in fashion to begin with. Too punk for glam, too glam for punk. Too punk for punk? Too glam for glam? However you wanna say it, The Joneses almost always stood alone." Ain't that the truth.

THE MANIKINS CROCODILES CD / LP/DIGITAL OUT NOW!

All you garage punk and power pop junkies better check out The Manikins' new album Crocodiles, and we're not just giving you lip service here. This is the Swedish boy's fourth album and first U.S. release. They have a ton of sold out singles on cool labels like Plastic Idol Records and Human Bretzel, and Crocodiles is also being released in Europe on P. Trash Records. A ton of labels have always supported The Manikins, and now Full Breach Kicks is one of those labels. If you like The Saints, The Devil Dogs, or The Hives, then you won't wanna miss The Manikins. Check out the song "Crocodiles" here. The vinyl LP comes with a digital download card of the entire album.

Here's what Now Wave had to say last year about The Manikins: "These Swedes score a perfect ten on the enthusiasm scale. I’m feeling lots of wildfire energy here – the kind that’s always lacking in the music of all those urbane hipster bands that have been jumping on the “garage” bandwagon in recent years. Any band can regurgitate the three-chord formula, but it won’t ring true unless ya got the music in your soul. The Manikins are the real deal. They have a ‘50s-ish feel with a revved-up backbeat that’ll have you shakin’ your ass ’til you drop. It's got great melodic guitar leads, a simple sing-along chorus, and a driving energy that's impossible to resist. Seriously, I bet these kids tear the place apart when they play live! The Manikins are one of the most promising young rock ‘n’ roll bands I’ve heard in a long time! Enthusiastic raves from idiots like me aren't even needed – music this good sells itself!"

Both records have always been collector's items for trash rock 'n' roll fans.

Then we have The Manikins new CD / LP/digital Crocodiles which will be out in the late spring and is a killer record! This is catchy Swedish garage punk and power pop in the vein of early Hives, The Marked Men, and The Buzzcocks. Finally a full-length for this great and long-standing band will be available in the U.S.

THE MANIKINS CD / LP/DIGITAL COMING SOON!

Who knows The Manikins? We are very excited to welcome the Swedish garage punks The Manikins to Full Breach Kicks! The band's fourth album Crocodiles will be out in late Spring with the European version on P. Trash Records from Germany. This is the first time a Manikins album will have a stateside release. If you still haven't hunted down a copy of their last album Lie, Cheat, and Steal, then do so right away. You won't be disappointed.

Here's what Razorcake had to say last year about The Manikins: "These guys have the back to the future capability to seamlessly shuttle through the roots of rock 'n' roll but never forget what year it is. Take the 'full dressed on stage but mentally fucking your girlfriend' capability of Chuck Berry, the 'how dare you steal something from the U.S.A. and turbocharge it, you tricky bastard'-ness of Japan's Firestarter, and the 'They're probably nominated for a Swedish Grammy' sound, and it's difficult for me not to like. It's like being playfully slapped by someone who just poured you a glass of champagne right after telling you a joke: bubbling, broken glass, chipped tooth fun." Get some!
